Mike has been a trainer since the 80’s.  He trained at the Heights Boxing Gym from the Mid to the late 80’s under such notables as Melvin Dennis and Kenny Weldon.  From 1990 to 1992, Mike began training fighters at the Salvation Army boxing club producing Golden Gloves champions George Dozier and Lawrance Blackwell.  

In 1992 Mike bagan training professional boxers.  He trained such notables as Michael “Second To” Nunn, World Champion Kenny “Machine Gun” Mitchell, Edward “Pee Wee” Parker, Ron “Tequila” Colins, Michael “Big Mike” Williams, Jimmy Mince and current top 10 light heavy weight Chris “Hard Hittin” Henry or Orange Texas.  Mike has traveled abroad in his boxing training career, to include Africa, France, Romania and Mexico, and traveling throughout the United States to include Madison Square Garden.  Mike has been on HBO, Showtime and ESPN, Mike has worked opposite Larry Holmes in 1992 and 2005.  Mike as also trained various MMA fighters throughout the Mississippi and Louisiana.  

I have studied the science of boxing and developed my own training techniques compiling years of boxing experience and knowledge, and it is my passion to pass it on to you!
